Add a board game from BoardGameGeek in a few taps, then find it by players, time or weight. Editions, pre-orders, loans, photos and where each box lives.
Everything in the box.
What GameChest does
A board game shelf on your phone, and your friends' next to it. One page for each thing it does, each with something to try on invented games; where a demo runs the app's own code, the note under it says so.
Updated
Import a BoardGameGeek collection by username, then send changes back after seeing each one. Your BGG password is used once and never stored.
Tick who's here, how long and how heavy, and every shelf at the table answers: what fits, whose box, who can teach. Then log the play.
Swap a code with a friend and see each other's shelves: what's for sale, what you'd buy, what you want to play. Never what you paid or who you played with.
Listing text for eBay, GeekMarket, Facebook and Vinted from your copy's facts, and an email when a game you want is on eBay UK at or under your price.
Suggestions that say why (duplicates, stranded expansions, near-twins), your games ranked two at a time, your own numbers, and the shelf by colour.
What it isn't
- A marketplace. It never takes a cut and never handles the money: selling happens on eBay, BGG's GeekMarket and the rest, and GameChest gets the listing ready.
- A replacement for BoardGameGeek. BGG is the authority on the games themselves; GameChest knows about your copy. More on that.
- A valuation. Prices are what people are asking, or figures you entered yourself; nothing here estimates what a game is worth.
